Stewardship in our parish involves not only the accountability of resources, but also the development of those resources. With the expansion and enhancement of the parish ministries, the need for resources grows.
The Development Committee works to expand and develop a constant pool of time, talent, and treasure resources for the Parish. This includes annual giving, Legacy League (wills), Endowment Fund, major gifts, Memorial Fund, and sapecial appeals such as the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal and, in the past, the Heritage of Hope Campaign. In coordination with the Staff and Parish Council, this committee assesses future ministerial needs such as new staff positions and physical facility needs.
The Finance Council reviews and analyzes the financial position of the parish. In consultation with the Pastor and the Parish Council, it advises and oversees spending priorities, operating budgets, and needs.
The Physical Facilities Committee participates in planning and performing administrative details for short and long-term maintenance and upgrading of the parish physical plant complex. It strives to keep the parish buildings and grounds in satisfactory condition, and recommends operational maintenance and needed improvements.
