At this time, we cannot accept ladies or children’s clothing. We are still accepting clean, usable men’s clothing and shoes. If you would like to donate women’s or children’s clothing, there is a St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore collection container at St. Ursula’s parish on Harford Road.
Volunteers sort donated clothes for the Franciscan Center and Christopher Place. Work is done in the Cronin Center on Monday mornings.
Franciscan Center (FC)
Franciscan Center is a social service center which operates to meet the emergency needs of the very poor. Parishioners donate clothes and food in support of this program.
Christopher Place Employment Center (CP)
Christopher Place Employment Center has offered programs and services to homeless men since 1984. They offer assistance with employment, housing, and addiction recovery. St. Isaac Jogues collects donations of clothes and food for these men.
Women’s Detention Center (WDC)
The Chaplain’s office serves as a religious presence and a sign of God’s love for those who often feel rejected and worthless. Parishioners donate toiletries. No glass containers, please.
My Sister’s Place (MSP)
My Sister’s Place provides a safe and supportive shelter for women and mothers with children.
St. Vincent de Paul
St. Vincent de Paul Conference, in affiliation with the Baltimore Conference, works in the community to assist families in difficult situations with food, clothing, and financial assistance for rent and utility bills. They prepare and deliver food baskets at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and organize an annual clothing drive.
The Conference meets periodically and welcomes new members at any time.

Beans & Bread
Beans & Bread, located in downtown Baltimore, provides needy or homeless people with a hot meal five days a week. Parishioners bake casseroles which are delivered to the Beans & Bread Center on the first Tuesday of each month. Beans & Bread depends on local parishes to support their mission.
Below are the collection dates for 2021. Please write “Beans and Bread” on the casserole.
January 5, February 2, March 2, April 6, May 4, June 1, July 6,
August 3, September 7, October 5, November 2, December 7.

Our Daily Bread
Our Daily Bread is Maryland’s largest soup kitchen, serving an average of 800 nutritious meals a day, seven days a week, to those suffering the burdens of poverty and homelessness. Parishioners bake casseroles that are delivered to ODB on the second Thursday of each month.
Casserole pans and recipes are always available in the parish office or in the church vestibule outside the vesting room.
Casserole bakers are always needed. You need not commit to a monthly schedule; some parishioners provide casseroles quarterly or occasionally. Every casserole is appreciated!
